Last Things

Our team has had very little free time the last two days... but we are beginning a period of last things... last children's ministry in the community, last time today to work at Hannah's Hope, last bus ride back from Chilca, Last meals here at Ola Grande Hostal, last shower in Peru...

As we enter this time we need your prayers again... feelings are mixed... It's hard to say good-bye to new friends... hard to lay down your tools while there is work to be done.

This is God's work, and He has another team, another blessing, another journey, for another mission team.

The last couple days have been highlighted by:
- Awesome minstry in the local community... and even a new experience with make-up for some of the local ladies (during VBS)
- Our team was honored to write scripture on the foam insulation of Hannah's Hope... very cool.
- A new experience in worship... our team rejoiced before the Lord as David did... with all their might... (I know what some will think... but it was an offering of beauty, and wonderful to behold)
- A wedding, and the Lord's supper, Barnabas style... simply wonderful... as individuals stood face to face and shared where they had seen Jesus in their life this week... and then serving them the Lords Supper.
- Little projects being completed.... satisfying.
- Jesus Everywhere

Every move I make I make in YouYou make me move, Jesus
Every breath I takeI breathe in You
Every step I take I take in YouYou are my way, Jesus
Every breath I take I breathe in You
Waves of mercyWaves of grace
Everywhere I lookI see Your face
Your love has captured me
Oh my God, this love
How can it be

Oh, how awesome! I am so excited! It all sounds so beautiful; I know it had to be beautiful to dance as David danced before the Lord--how blessed you are. I can’t wait to hear every detail. Oh, what sweet abandon. “Praise the God of Heaven and Earth!”

Psalm 149: 3
Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Psalm 150: 4
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.

Hey everybody,
What an amazing week you have had. Thank you for blogging even after your busy day. You brought the church with you to Peru through the pictures and your writings. I too pray that God will continue the fire He started in you and you will come home and ignite the rest of us, so we have that same desire to share Jesus with Caldwell County. Can't wait to see you Sunday!
Love ya,
Tonya

Hello Team,
I'm sure that as the last day approaches it will be tough and emotional. I heard someone say once that "Let's try to not be sad that it's over, but happy that it happened!" I'm going to pray that Joy will fill your hearts that you guys were able to be used by the King of Kings this week, and not for your glory but His. Take care and I can't wait to see you guys when you get back.
